FACILITIES
KITCHEN: Freezer and walk-in coolstore. Plates, cutlery, cups supplied. Electric ovens and gas hobs. All cooking utensils supplied. Electric toasters. Tea-towels and detergents provided. Stainless steel benches, including two serveries. Commercial dishwasher. Potato peeler machine in laundry.
DINING HALL: Seats approx. 120 with moveable tables, carpeted, electric heating. Wall-mounted constant boiling water unit for tea/coffee making. Excellent views across farmland and Lake Rotorua. Adjacent to kitchen. Opens to a large verandah which links to the Main Hall.
MAIN HALL: Seating for approx. 200. Raised speakers platform and P.A. system. Overhead projector available. Piano. Pool table, table tennis table. Electric heating, carpeted. Suitable for meetings and games.
ENTRY FOYER: Large lobby connecting carpark entrance to Main Hall and verandah. Male and female toilet blocks adjacent to entry. Double-door illuminated book display cupboard.
LAUNDRIES: Two laundries with washing machines, dryer and iron. The main laundry is for washing associated with the kitchen. Please discourage campers from doing unnecessary general washing. Dryer to be used by kitchen staff only.
PROVISIONS
FOOD: Not provided. Lakeview Bible Camp is a self-catering camp. Each group hiring the camp is responsible for their own food supply and catering and adherence to any Food Safety regulations.
BEDDING: Mattresses and pillows are provided. Pillowcases must be brought and used by all campers. It is up to the Camp Director to ensure that Camp pillows are not used without pillowcases.
BATHROOMS: Toilet rolls are provided, and hand towels by vanity basins adjacent to the toilets.
CLEANING: Detergents, disinfectants and cleaning equipment are supplied.
WIFI: Access is available in the main complex and the Lodge.
CARAVANS and CAMPERVANS: There are four caravan power sockets in the main carpark at the wide end near the John cabin.
ACCOMMODATION
PAUL: 6 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 each. (Max. 20 in building). Men’s & women’s bathrooms containing showers, basins and toilets. Disabled toilet & shower.
LUKE: 3 bedrooms sleeping 22 in total. Bathroom, 2 showers, 2 toilets.
MARK: 2 bedrooms sleeping 10 and 12, 2 showers, 2 toilets.
JOHN: 2 bedrooms sleeping 6 each. Double bed in lounge/kitchen. Kitchen facilities, 2 Showers, 2 toilets, bathroom.
THE LODGE: Hired to adult groups only. Two bedroom wings with large centre lounge with kitchen. All bedrooms have a vanity unit. The West wing (closest to the carpark) has 3 bedrooms with queen bed + single bed, 1 bedroom with twin single beds, 1 bedroom with single bed, 2 bathrooms (4 showers and 2 toilets). The East wing has 8 bedrooms with twin single beds, 2 showers and 2 toilets, a Disabled bathroom, and laundry.
MATTHEW: Caretaker’s Cottage – not available for hire
